Every course, every assignment, and every conversation at Rise is in service of our four learning goals.
Across every department, students learn to research, analyze, interpret, and weigh evidence — to build an argument and to recognize a weak one, including their own.
Whether in the Studio, on the page, or in a lab, students learn to make something of real quality, not just complete an assignment.
Through Service & Leadership coursework and the rhythms of our extended day, students put their gifts to use for others — and discover it’s part of their calling, not an add-on.
By senior year, every student has led something real: a thesis defense, a team, a service project — leadership practiced, not just heard about.
Our middle schoolers are at an age of enormous change — in their bodies, their friendships, their sense of who they are and who they’re becoming. We meet them there: pushing them to think harder than they think they can, while giving them the structure, encouragement, and grace to do it without fear of failure.

Built for every motivated student
Rise’s extended school day allows us to offer a rich support system that ensures every motivated student is able to succeed. Support strategies include a homework help period, daily office hours, academic enrichment, and study skill workshops. Mentoring is built into the extended day with the help of members and leaders in the community.

Eight departments, one standard
Rise Prep’s high school program is built around eight departments, spanning the breadth of a classical college preparatory education while staying rooted in our particular faith tradition and community. All core courses fulfill UC/CSU A‑G requirements. AP courses are available in Calculus, Language & Composition, Literature & Composition, and Environmental Science.

A Rise Prep school day runs longer than a typical school day — by design. The extra time isn’t just more class; it’s built-in space for the homework help, office hours, mentoring, and enrichment that make our level of rigor sustainable for every student.
